The total solar eclipse takes place on August 2, 2027. Our guests will observe it from the private Luxor Eclipse Camp, located in an open panoramic desert area near Luxor.
The camp is planned to include air-conditioned hospitality areas, shaded seating, panoramic viewing space, a dedicated photography zone, internet, electricity, charging points, restrooms, refreshments and operational support.
The Luxor stay is arranged at Steigenberger Nile Palace Luxor in Executive Rooms. The extended Egypt package also includes a Deluxe cabin aboard Sonesta St. George I Nile Cruise.
The short Luxor package requires a deposit of $400 per adult. The Grand Egypt and Nile Cruise package requires $800 per adult. Children aged 7–17 pay 50% of the adult deposit, while children aged 0–6 require no deposit.
Children aged 0–6 travel free of charge when sharing the confirmed family accommodation arrangement. Children aged 7–17 receive 50% off the adult package price. Guests aged 18 and older pay the full adult price.
No. The initial reservation only asks for essential contact details, traveler numbers and room preference. Passport, flight, dietary and traveler information is requested after the deposit through the Complete Your Traveler Details form.
The camp is selected to provide an open viewing environment, but weather, clouds, dust and atmospheric conditions are natural factors outside our control. The camp services and scheduled experience will continue whenever it is safe to operate.
Reservations may be cancelled or transferred according to the dates and conditions stated in our Cancellation and Refund Policy. We recommend reviewing the policy and purchasing comprehensive travel insurance shortly after booking.
